The Forestry Training Institute is certified to issue an Associate’s Degree (AA) in Forestry or GIS.
The Forestry Degree is a two-year all-inclusive program, with the first year covering general forestry courses. In the second year, the students have the option to concentrate on one of the 3 Cs as described by the Liberian Forestry sector: Community, Commercial and Conservation.

The GIS Diploma is a one year program with 5 possible areas of focus. The GIS diploma is delivered in collaboration with partners, including USAID, The World Bank, SIDA, and the Liberian Land Authority. Contact the Institute for more details.
